Coupar Grange is a monastic grange located northwest of Coupar Angus in Perthshire, Scotland. The grange belonged to Coupar Angus Abbey, a Cistercian foundation established in the twelfth century, and served as an outlying agricultural estate managed by the abbey to support its economic operations. Monastic granges of this type were characteristic features of Cistercian organisation, functioning as working farms that processed and stored the produce and livestock essential to abbey finances. The site preserves evidence of medieval agricultural settlement and land management practices typical of Scottish monastic institutions during the medieval period.
