Oversley Castle is a motte-and-bailey castle located near Alcester in Warwickshire. The site consists of a substantial earthwork comprising a raised mound with an adjoining bailey, typical of Norman fortifications erected in the eleventh and twelfth centuries. The castle formed part of the early medieval defensive landscape of the Midlands, though relatively little is known of its later history or occupation beyond the Norman period.
