The grant funds will be used to stabilize the school's foundation and restore the roof and windows. The Okahumpka Rosenwald School has also earned a grant from the Florida Department of States Historical Resources Divisions 2022 African American Cultural and Historical grants program, also to restore the Okahumpka Rosenwald School but also to help construct a new Community Center on the site, that would be used in conjunction with and as a support facility for the Historic School.
