Biography

Charles Farrell was born in Walpole, Massachusetts in 1900 and worked as a film, television, and stage actor. He appeared opposite Janet Gaynor in more than a dozen films, including 7th Heaven, Street Angel, and Lucky Star. In the 1950s he starred in the sitcom My Little Margie and appeared in The Charles Farrell Show. He served as Mayor of Palm Springs from 1947 to 1955 and was among the early developers of that city. He died in 1990.
