Biography
Edward Paul Flanders was born in Minneapolis in 1934 and worked as an actor in television, film, and stage. He played Dr. Donald Westphall in the medical drama series St. Elsewhere, which ran from 1982 to 1988. Flanders received eight Primetime Emmy nominations and won the award three times, in 1976, 1977, and 1983. He died in 1995.
