Frank Farmer Loomis Jr. was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1896 and died in 1971. He competed in athletics and won the 400 metres hurdles at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. His brother, Jo Gilbert Loomis, was a substitute sprinter at the same Olympics.
