Frederic Fenimore Forrest Jr. was born in Waxahachie, Texas on December 23, 1936, and died on June 23, 2023. He worked as a film and television actor and appeared in multiple films with director Francis Ford Coppola, including The Conversation, Apocalypse Now, One from the Heart, and Tucker: The Man and His Dream. Forrest received a National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in The Rose and Apocalypse Now, and was nominated for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a New York Film Critics Circle Award.
