Biography
Isadora Duncan was born in San Francisco in 1877 and worked as a dancer and choreographer. She performed throughout Europe and the United States, and from age 22 lived and danced in Western Europe, the United States, and Soviet Russia. She died in 1927 in Nice, France, when her scarf became caught in the wheel and axle of a car in which she was travelling.
