Biography
Jean Parker was born in Deer Lodge, Montana in 1915 and worked as a stage and film actor. During the Great Depression, she was adopted by a family in Pasadena, California at age ten. At sixteen, she was discovered by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer executive Louis B. Mayer after a photograph of her appeared in a Los Angeles newspaper following her win in a poster contest. She died in 2005.
