Biography
Kenny Rogers was born in Houston, Texas in 1938 and died in 2020. A singer-songwriter who also worked as a guitarist, pianist, record producer, and actor, Rogers charted more than 120 hit singles across jazz, folk, pop, rock, and country genres. His albums topped the country and pop charts for more than 200 weeks in the United States, and he sold more than 100 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013.
