Movita Castaneda was born in Nogales, Arizona in 1916 and worked as a singer and actor. She appeared in films including Flying Down to Rio and Mutiny on the Bounty, playing roles such as exotic women and singers. She was the second wife of actor Marlon Brando and mother of Miko Castaneda Brando and Rebecca Brando Kotlizky. She died in 2015.
