Pat Carroll was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1927 and worked as a film, television, stage, and voice actor, as well as a comedian and singer. She provided the voice of Ursula in The Little Mermaid and appeared as a guest in television series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Laverne & Shirley, and ER, along with a regular role as Bunny Halper on The Danny Thomas Show. She won Emmy, Drama Desk, and Grammy Awards and was nominated for a Tony Award. She died on July 30, 2022.
