Biography

Richard Brautigan was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 30, 1935, and worked as a novelist, poet, and writer. He published ten novels, two collections of short stories, and ten books of poetry throughout his life. His novels Trout Fishing in America (1967), In Watermelon Sugar (1968), and The Abortion: An Historical Romance 1966 (1971) were among his works. He died on September 14, 1984.
