Richard Ramirez was born in El Paso, Texas in 1960. Between April 1984 and August 1985, he murdered at least fifteen people in Greater Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area during break-ins. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 1989 and died in 2013 while awaiting execution.
