Biography
Sheldon Adelson was born in Boston in 1933 and worked as an entrepreneur, businessman, and investor. He founded Las Vegas Sands Corporation, serving as its chairman and chief executive officer, and was involved with Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and The Venetian Las Vegas. Adelson owned several newspapers: Israel Hayom and Makor Rishon in Israel, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal in the United States. He died in 2021.
