An enclosure and stone hut circle 270m ENE of Plym Steps is a Prehistoric settlement site situated on the moorland of Dartmoor in Devon. The monument comprises a roughly circular stone hut circle associated with an adjacent enclosure, features typical of Bronze Age domestic occupation on the moor dating to the second millennium BCE. The stone construction and morphological characteristics place it within the broad settlement pattern of upland pastoral communities that exploited Dartmoor's resources during the Bronze Age. Such hut circles, often found in clusters or with associated field systems, represent some of the earliest evidence for permanent or semi-permanent habitation on Dartmoor's high ground.
