Armadale Burn broch is an Iron Age fortified roundhouse situated approximately 1420 metres south-east of Armadale House in Sutherland, northern Scotland. The monument represents the broch type of stone tower dwelling characteristic of Iron Age Scotland, typically dating to between the 1st century BC and 1st century AD. The site is recorded within the heritage register as a significant example of Iron Age defensive architecture in the north Highlands, where such structures functioned as both domestic and defensive strongholds for local populations.
