Arnbarrow is a post-medieval farmstead and field system situated on the Southern Highland Group bedrock of Kincardineshire, near the River Dee valley. The underlying geology of pelitic rock, formed during the Middle Cambrian period, would have shaped both the landscape and the agricultural potential of this rural settlement.
