Balure is a Bronze Age cairn cemetery located approximately 750 metres south-west of Balure in Argyllshire, Scotland. The site comprises three distinct burial cairns, representative of funerary monuments characteristic of the Bronze Age period in the Scottish Highlands. Such cairn groups served as communal or family burial places and reflect the settlement and land use patterns of Bronze Age communities in the region. The remains survive as earthwork monuments within the landscape, preserving evidence of prehistoric burial practice and social organisation in Argyllshire.
