Bearsden Roman bath-house is a second-century Roman auxiliary fort bathhouse located in Dunbartonshire, Scotland, approximately four hundred metres northeast of Bearsden Station. The structure dates to the period of the Antonine Wall, when Roman forces occupied the frontier region between approximately 142 and 180 AD. Archaeological excavation has revealed the typical hypocausted heating systems and suite of bathing chambers characteristic of Roman military bath installations, providing evidence of the everyday infrastructure supporting the fort garrison. The bath-house represents an important surviving example of Roman military engineering and domestic provision in northern Britain during the height of Roman occupation of Scotland.
