Belbury Castle is a Iron Age hillfort located near Colyton in east Devon, England. The monument consists of a single rampart with an external ditch enclosing an irregular polygonal enclosure of approximately two hectares, positioned on high ground commanding views over the surrounding landscape. Archaeological and topographical evidence suggests occupation during the later Iron Age, though systematic excavation has been limited. The site represents one of several hillforts distributed across Devon from this period, reflecting the settlement patterns and territorial organisation of Iron Age communities in the southwest peninsula.
