Belnaglack is a Bronze Age burnt mound situated approximately 450 metres east-north-east of Belnaglack in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The monument comprises a distinctive mound of fire-cracked stone and charred material, characteristic of prehistoric cooking sites that operated during the Bronze Age. Such burnt mounds, known locally as fulachtaí fia in Irish archaeology, represent the heated stones used in communal food preparation, likely involving the boiling of water for cooking meat and other foodstuffs. The site contributes to our understanding of Bronze Age settlement patterns and subsistence practices in north-east Scotland.
