The site comprises a number of circular or sub-circular hut circles arranged in association with an enclosure, representing a form of domestic and pastoral settlement typical of the Highlands during the early modern period. Such settlements reflect the continuation of traditional building practices and land use patterns into the post-medieval era, before the extensive reorganisation of Highland society and landscape brought about by clearances and agricultural improvement. The site is recorded under Historic Environment Scotland INSPIRE designation SM3476.
