Blaircessnock palisaded enclosure is a Post-Medieval defensive structure located approximately 950 metres east of Blaircessnock in Perthshire, Scotland. The monument consists of a palisaded enclosure, a form of fortification constructed using wooden stakes or timber posts set closely together to form a defensive barrier, characteristic of settlement sites from the Post-Medieval period. Such enclosures in Scotland typically date from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries and served both defensive and domestic purposes for their inhabitants.
