Bowl barrow on Calton Pastures is a Bronze Age burial monument situated on high ground in Derbyshire, approximately 950 metres west of Calton Houses. The barrow takes the form of a simple earthen mound, characteristic of Bronze Age funerary practice, rising from the surrounding pastureland. Such monuments are typical of the period between approximately 2200 and 700 BC, when inhumation and cremation burials were marked by constructed mounds of varying sizes and forms.
