Bronze Age unenclosed settlement and field system with burial cairns south west of Brands Hill, 350 metres east-north-east of Langlee is a scheduled archaeological monument comprising the remains of prehistoric occupation and land use in Northumberland. The site consists of scattered settlement features and associated field boundaries characteristic of Bronze Age agriculture, together with burial cairns indicating funerary practice of the period. The unenclosed nature of the settlement reflects typical Bronze Age settlement patterns in northern Britain, where domestic structures and stock management operated without the defensive enclosures of later periods.
