Broomend is a Bronze Age ceremonial landscape situated near Broom Lodge in Aberdeenshire, comprising multiple monuments arranged across the surrounding terrain. The complex includes a henge monument, which would have served ritual or astronomical purposes, an associated avenue of stones leading from or to the henge, a symbol stone bearing Bronze Age carved designs, and a square barrow representing Bronze Age burial practice. The spatial arrangement of these features across distances of up to 255 metres suggests a deliberately planned ceremonial precinct of considerable significance. The site demonstrates the sophisticated monumentality and ritual investment characteristic of Bronze Age communities in northeast Scotland, with the integration of different monument types indicating sustained use and cultural importance across the period.
