Camp Tops is a Iron Age fort, linear earthwork and field system located in Roxburghshire, Scotland. The site comprises a fortified settlement together with associated linear earthworks and evidence of prehistoric agricultural land use, representing the integrated settlement and subsistence patterns of Iron Age communities in the Scottish Borders. The fort itself consists of defensive ramparts characteristic of Iron Age Scottish hillfort construction, whilst the linear earthworks and field systems demonstrate the organisation of contemporary farming practices and territorial boundaries. The site dates to the Iron Age period and provides archaeological evidence for settlement hierarchy and land management strategies in southeast Scotland during this period.
