Canada Hill is a scooped homestead located west-southwest of Canada Hill in Peeblesshire, Scotland. The site represents a form of prehistoric or early medieval domestic settlement characterized by a sunken or deliberately excavated floor level, a construction method that provided both structural stability and thermal insulation. Such scooped homesteads are distributed across the Scottish Borders and date variously from the Iron Age through to the early medieval period, though the precise chronology of individual examples often remains uncertain without excavation. The monument survives as an earthwork feature and forms part of the archaeological record of upland settlement patterns in the Tweed valley region.
