Carlungie souterrain is an Iron Age underground stone-lined passage located in Angus, Scotland, situated approximately 160 metres west-north-west of Carlungie itself. The monument consists of a subterranean chamber constructed from stone, typical of the souterrain class of structures that proliferated in Iron Age Scotland, particularly in the north and east of the country. Such structures remain poorly understood in terms of their precise function, though they are variously interpreted as storage facilities, refuges, ritual spaces, or domestic adjuncts to surface settlements.
