Carn Liath is a Neolithic chambered cairn located approximately 1200 metres west-northwest of Torboll in Sutherland, in the far north of Scotland. The monument consists of a substantial cairn structure containing a burial chamber, representing the funerary and ceremonial practices of Neolithic communities in the Scottish Highlands during the fourth and third millennia before the common era. Such chambered cairns served as communal burial places and would have functioned as focal points for the ritual and social life of early farming societies. The site is recorded in the national monuments record under Historic Environment Scotland's INSPIRE designation SM1772.
