The cist and associated mound in Langridge Wood, situated 410 metres north-west of Treborough Lodge in Somerset, is a Bronze Age burial monument. The site consists of a stone burial chamber, or cist, accompanied by an earthen mound constructed as a funerary structure typical of the Bronze Age period in Britain. Such monuments represent important evidence for burial practices and social organisation during the second millennium before Christ. The surviving remains contribute to the archaeological record of ritual and memorial practice in the Exmoor region of Somerset during prehistory.
