Cleongart Dun is an Iron Age fortified settlement located in Argyllshire, south-east of Cleongart in south-western Scotland. The site comprises a univallate dun, a defensive structure characteristic of the Iron Age period in Scotland, constructed with a single defensive wall encircling an interior settlement area. Such duns served as fortified homesteads for elite families or small communities, providing both residential and defensive functions during the Iron Age. The monument is recorded in the Historic Environment Scotland database and represents an important example of Iron Age settlement archaeology in the Argyll region.
