Copa Hill at Cwmystwyth is a post-medieval and modern lead, copper and zinc mine located in Ceredigion, Wales, representing significant industrial exploitation of the Cardigan ore field. The mine workings date from the seventeenth century onwards, with major development occurring during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries when mining activity intensified across the region. The site contains characteristic features of lead mining including shafts, levels, spoil heaps and associated surface infrastructure that document the technical and economic importance of metal extraction to the locality. Copa Hill remains one of the more substantial surviving examples of non-ferrous metal mining heritage in Wales, designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument under the Cadw reference SAM CD145.
