Crackaig and Glac Gugairidh is a pair of depopulated settlements located on the Isle of Mull in Argyllshire, Scotland. These settlements represent the material remains of rural communities that were abandoned during the early modern period, a pattern of depopulation characteristic of the Hebridean islands resulting from economic change, estate reorganisation, and the clearances. The sites preserve the archaeological evidence of domestic occupation through scattered stone structures and field systems that reflect the settlement patterns of the pre-clearance Hebrides. The depopulated settlements of Mull, including Crackaig and Glac Gugairidh, form an important archaeological record of the social and economic upheaval that transformed the Scottish Highlands and Islands from the seventeenth century onwards.
