Denbigh Town Walls is a medieval defensive structure enclosing the town of Denbigh in Denbighshire, Wales, constructed during the late thirteenth and fourteenth centuries following the English conquest of North Wales. The walls, which originally formed a complete circuit around the town, were built with stone and incorporated towers and gateways designed to protect the settlement and control access. The defences remain substantially preserved in sections, particularly along the northern and eastern sides of the town, demonstrating the engineering standards of medieval Welsh border fortifications. The walls are associated with the development of Denbigh as a planted town under English administrative control and represent an important example of medieval urban defence in Wales.
