Dovecote at Charleston Manor is a medieval structure located in Charleston, near Alfriston in East Sussex. The building dates from the medieval period and survives as a substantial example of a working dovecote, a building type essential to manorial estates for the rearing of pigeons for food and fertiliser. The dovecote is constructed in brick and retains many of its internal nesting boxes, demonstrating the practical arrangements typical of such structures.
