Dun an Sticer is a Iron Age dun situated on the shores of Loch an Sticir in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The monument consists of the remains of a circular stone-built fortification typical of the dun class of defensive structures that proliferated in northern Scotland during the Iron Age period. Such duns served as defended homesteads or strongholds for elite families and their dependents, representing a significant settlement form in the later prehistoric period. The site's location on the loch edge reflects the strategic importance of water access and the defensive advantages afforded by such positions in the Iron Age landscape of the Highlands.
