Dun Chlif is an Iron Age dun situated approximately 1200 metres north-west of Ben Erival in Ross-shire, Scotland. The monument consists of the remains of a small fortified dwelling characteristic of the Iron Age period in the Scottish Highlands, when such structures served as defended homesteads for local communities. The site's location in the remote upland landscape of Ross-shire reflects the settlement patterns of Iron Age populations in northern Scotland, where such duns provided both domestic accommodation and defensive capability against raid or conflict.
