Dun Ghallain is a small Iron Age dun situated approximately 1500 metres south-west of Camasinas in Argyllshire, Scotland. The monument consists of the fragmentary remains of a stone-built fortified enclosure characteristic of Iron Age settlement patterns in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Such duns typically functioned as defended homesteads or strongholds for local élites during the Iron Age period. The site's survival as archaeological remains reflects both the durability of stone construction and the long-term significance of defensible settlement locations in this region during the pre-Roman Iron Age.
