Dun Putechantuy is a Iron Age dun situated in Kintyre, Argyllshire, Scotland. The monument consists of the remains of a fortified settlement characteristic of the Iron Age period in western Scotland, when such duns served as defended homesteads or strongholds for local élites and their communities. The site's physical remains reflect the defensive architecture typical of these structures, with evidence of stone construction that would have formed substantial walls. As with many duns in the region, Dun Putechantuy represents an important phase of settlement and social organisation in Iron Age Argyll.
