Dun Urgadul is an Iron Age dun located on the Isle of Mull in Argyllshire, Scotland. The monument consists of the substantial stone ruins of a circular or oval defensive structure, characteristic of the dun form that was prevalent in the Scottish Highlands and Islands during the Iron Age. Such fortified homesteads served as residences for families of some status and were typically occupied during the later prehistoric period, roughly from the fifth century BC onwards, though many continued in use into the early medieval period. The site remains an important archaeological record of Iron Age settlement patterns and domestic fortification practices in the Hebridean region.
