Eileanach Lodge is a post-medieval settlement and associated field system located approximately 550 metres west-south-west of the eponymous lodge in Ross-shire, Scotland. The site represents a typical rural settlement pattern of the early modern period, comprising the structural remains of habitation alongside evidence of contemporary agricultural organisation through surviving field boundaries and cultivation patterns. Such settlements are characteristic of the Highland and upland regions of Scotland during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, reflecting the pastoral and subsistence farming economies that predominated in these areas before substantial agricultural improvement and reorganisation.
