The monument comprises an irregular enclosure formed by a bank and ditch, situated approximately 740 metres north-east of Combshead Tor at an elevation typical of Bronze Age settlement activity on the moor. Dating to the Bronze Age, the site represents evidence of pastoral economy and land management practices during this period, when such enclosed spaces served domestic and agricultural functions.
