Garheugh, cairn 1050m NW of, is a Bronze Age burial cairn located in Wigtownshire, south-west Scotland. The monument consists of a mound of stones constructed as a sepulchral monument typical of the Bronze Age period, when such cairns served as repositories for the dead and functioned as prominent markers in the landscape.
