Gib Hill oval barrow and bowl barrow is a Neolithic and Bronze Age burial monument located near Monyash in the Peak District, Derbyshire. The site comprises two distinct earthwork mounds: an oval barrow of Neolithic date and a Bronze Age bowl barrow, which together represent successive phases of ritual burial practice spanning several millennia. The oval barrow, the earlier of the two structures, is particularly notable as a rare surviving example of its type, whilst the bowl barrow exemplifies the round mound burial tradition characteristic of the Bronze Age. Both monuments survive as substantial earthworks and constitute important archaeological evidence for prehistoric funerary practices in the Peak District region.
