Glacbain is a Neolithic chambered cairn located in Sutherland, northern Scotland, dating to the period around 3500–2500 BCE. The monument consists of a cairn structure incorporating a stone chamber, typical of the funerary and ceremonial practices of early farming communities in Neolithic Britain. Though subject to the weathering and degradation common to such ancient monuments, the site represents an important record of early settlement patterns and burial customs in the far north of mainland Scotland. The cairn contributes to the wider archaeological landscape of Sutherland, where clustered Neolithic burial monuments reflect the distribution of contemporary populations.
