Hulton Abbey is a Cistercian monastery founded in the twelfth century in Staffordshire. The abbey was established as a daughter house of the Cistercian order and operated as a monastic community until its dissolution during the Reformation in the sixteenth century. The surviving remains, located adjacent to Leek Road in Abbey Hulton, consist of archaeological earthworks and structural fragments that preserve evidence of the abbey's layout and construction. The site is designated as an ancient monument and represents an important example of Cistercian monastic settlement in the Midlands.
