Hut circle on Comb Scar is a prehistoric domestic settlement located in Yorkshire. The monument consists of a circular or sub-circular earthwork representing the foundation of an Iron Age or Bronze Age dwelling, characteristic of upland settlement patterns in northern Britain during the later prehistoric period. Such hut circles typically measured between four and eight metres in diameter and would have supported a timber or stone superstructure with a central hearth. The site contributes to understanding the distribution and nature of domestic occupation in the Pennine uplands during pre-Roman times.
