Ironshill is a post-medieval settlement and associated field enclosures located approximately 80 metres west-south-west of the main settlement in Angus, Scotland. The site represents typical agricultural organisation of the early modern period, with evidence of domestic settlement alongside the systematic enclosure of surrounding land for pastoral and arable use. The physical remains comprise structural foundations and field boundaries that reflect the settlement patterns and land management practices characteristic of rural Scotland during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries.
